Suelin's success story...
Suelin founded her business in January 2020. 12 months later, with our help, she had built an AWEsome team and quadrupled her income. As a result she was able to leave the day-to-day management to focus on property investment.
“When the first lockdown hit, it was an incredibly scary and precarious time. I had just made this leap into having my own business and to finding new clients and I really didn’t know how that would play out amid the pandemic. I was so grateful that I had made the decision to work with Academy for Women Entrepreneurs ahead of the
pandemic because the support from the community and the workshops and
coaching were vital in helping my business to not only survive – but actually thrive! It was in the real low moments, which I think we have all had as business owners in 2020, that AWE was so important. It’s the first professional group I’ve been part of where all people seem able to be genuinely honest about their situations. There’s none of this ‘performance’ or ‘pretence’ that you often find in professional development groups. I think that’s testament to the culture Ceylan – the Co-Founder and Lead Coach – has created. We could all say when we were not okay, without judgement and that was usually met with empathy and then solutions.”
